Here at The Anglers Arms, we pride ourselves on serving delicious food which is all homemade and locally sourced from the Ulverston area. From our classic fish and chips battered in Thwaites ale to mouth-watering burgers, we have something for everyone. Be sure to keep an eye out on our specials board for our favourite Romanian dishes.

Our fully stocked bar offers a variety of refreshments that all pair perfectly with our food. From Thwaites cask ale to a selection of wines and spirits there is something for all.

To the back of the pub, we have our snug room, with a cosy fireplace and pool table which is perfect for the colder months to relax in with friends and family. In the warmer months we have a large outdoor seating area to the front of the pub, which is great for enjoying a drink or two in the sunshine.

From our doors there is plenty to do and see within Haverthwaite. The Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway is just over the dual carriageway from the pub and is a great day out for the whole family. Here you can travel back in time and climb aboard the steam train – dogs are also welcome onboard and can travel for free! After your adventure why not pop in for some post-stream train refreshments and food?

The Roudsea Wood and Mosses National Nature Reserve is a short 10 minute drive from the pub. This wood is a great day out for you and your family and lots of different wildlife, birds and plants can be found during your walk.
