The Angler’s Arms in Cumbria is a popular pub and restaurant amongst the locals from the nearby villages, as well as the many visitors to the area enjoying a holiday or day out. Our reputation, service, quality and value bring back regulars time and again. We offer a varied menu of tasty food, created wherever possible from fresh, local ingredients and priced reasonably. Our menu offers an excellent choice of starters, appetisers, traditional favourites, steaks and grills, salads, vegetarian and children’s choices – so everyone will find something to suit their appetite. Tempting desserts and specials are on the boards throughout The Angler’s Arms. Our teas and coffees too are selected for flavour and quality, so we only stock our blends from Farrer’s Tea & Coffee Merchants, makers of quality coffees and teas.
Our bar area offers all the beverages you could want to accompany your meal or enjoy on their own, with a much loved selection of cask ales, changing guest ales and wines too. The atmosphere will encourage you to linger long and enjoy the fine company, warm surroundings and outstanding scenery just outside the windows. In the finer weather, you can dine and drink outside in our beer garden, amidst the natural beauty that this area is famous for.
Our function room is available to hire for meetings, private parties, group sessions and more; do please ask about how we can make your private function run smoothly. We are happy to discuss any arrangements for catering, equipment or other requirements. We also have a pool table and games machines as well as ample parking.
